Excitement is building in anticipation of the Grey Cup returning to the West Coast this fall, and the 2024 festival planned ahead. The Tour of BC truck coming to Langley this weekend will help fuel the energy.

This November, the 111th Grey Cup is coming to Vancouver – but first the 2024 Grey Cup Festival Tour of B.C. is coming to Langley on Saturday, June 29.

The branded truck kicked off the tour at the BC Lions training camp in Kamloops last month, before embarking on a summer road trip that sees them visiting 50 municipalities throughout province.

The tour culminates in Victoria at the debut of the highly anticipated Touchdown Pacific and coinciding Fan Festival on Aug. 29 to 31.

"In celebration of the return of the Grey Cup to the West Coast, the Tour of BC truck will become immersed within the fabric of British Columbia by attending the local events and popping up at businesses in many of the communities where CFL fans live, work, and play," said event promoters, noting highlights of the tour include stops at events like Castlegar Sunfest, Silly Boat Fest Regatta in Nanaimo, and Agrifair in Abbotsford.

"Fans will have the opportunity to contribute to the legacy of the tour by recording a message at the interactive video booth, getting into the Grey Cup Festival spirit with BC Lions-themed tailgate activities, and entering to win great prizes."

The Tour of BC, powered by LiUNA Local 1611, stops at StorageVault Langley, #200-19950 88 Ave. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
