Yvonne was born in Provost, Alberta on January 6, 1930, and passed away in South Surrey on December 3, 2023, at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her beloved Husband Ivan in July 2021, Yvonne is now at peace in the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ, once again reunited with Ivan.
Yvonne was the mother of Esther (Ian), Marvin (Lori), and Vernon (Moira, ex-spouse Dauphne). Grandma to Ryan, Matthew, Michael, Ingrid, Karina, Carly, Sjor, and great-grandmother to Erika, Curtis, Freja, Marvin, Henrik, Marley and Kasper.
Yvonne was active in many activities, especially outdoor pursuits.
She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service and Interment of ashes in a memorial garden will take place at Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 2350 - 148 Street, South Surrey, B.C., on Sunday, May 5th at 3:00 pm. Following the service, a reception will be held in the church hall.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Yvonne's memory would be greatly appreciated.
